Annan Athletic 2-0 Elgin City

Annan Athletic made sure of a second-placed finish in Scottish Division Two thanks to a comfortable win over second-bottom Elgin City.

Jamie Duff wasted a decent chance for the visitors, heading a free-kick over from close range, before Annan took the lead with 33 minutes on the clock.

Josh Todd released David Hopkirk beyond the visiting defence and he rounding goalkeeper John Gibson.

Martin McNiff then met a free kick by Andrew Mitchell to head past Gibson.

Annan now travel north to Stirling Albion in the first leg of the League One play-off semi-final on Wednesday.
