Torquay United have given professional contracts to youth team players Sam Chaney and Micky Parcell.
The 18-year-olds are the first players to sign deals since Torquay's relegation from the Football League.
Chaney has been an unused substitute in League Two while Parcell has yet to feature in a first-team squad.
They have been excellent youth trainees, not only in their work ethic but also as people," said Torquay's head of youth Geoff Harrop.
"We believe they have the talent and potential to become successful pro footballers."
