Arsenal's Olivier Giroud scored as France beat Jamaica 8-0 in their final World Cup warm-up match on Sunday.

Didier Deschamps' side led 3-0 at half-time through goals by former Newcastle midfielder Yohan Cabaye, Blaise Matuidi and Karim Benzema.

Matuidi and Benzema were also on target in the second half, with Giroud and an Antoine Griezmann double completing the rout.

France face Honduras, Switzerland and Ecuador in Group E.

Real Madrid striker Benzema was particularly impressive as the French showed they can absorb the loss of Franck Ribery, who misses the World Cup with a back injury.

Tottenham Hotspur's Hugo Lloris, Manchester United's Patrice Evra, Liverpool's Mamadou Sakho and Newcastle's Moussa Sissoko were all in the starting line-up.

Arsenal's Bacary Sagna and Queens Park Rangers' Loic Remy came on as second-half substitutes.
