Motherwell: James McFadden to leave Fir Park at end of May

Motherwell forward James McFadden will leave Fir Park when his contract expires at the end of May.
The 31-year-old returned to the club for a second spell in February 2013 following his release by Sunderland.
However, injury restricted him to 23 starts in the Premiership this season as Well finished second in the table.
Manager Stuart McCall said: "I had James in last Friday and we had a discussion about the future and everything was very amicable."
McCall said McFadden, who scored five goals for Well since last summer, deserved praise for his commitment despite being sidelined.
"I cannot speak highly enough of his attitude, desire and professionalism whilst he was here, particularly when going through a difficult patch or when he was injured," McCall told his club website.
"In the past, we could possibly have used James in a number of positions, but I think he is at his best when played through the middle as a striker.
"We have five different options in that position and need to utilise the budget in other areas of the squad."
McFadden enjoyed spells at Everton, Sunderland and has been capped 48 times by Scotland.
