Carlos Edwards: Millwall sign Ipswich midfielder on free transfer

Championship club Millwall have signed Ipswich Town defender Carlos Edwards on a free transfer.

The 35-year-old right-back, who scored one goal in eight appearances during a loan spell with the Lions this season, has agreed a one-year deal.

The Trinidad and Tobago international spent five years at Portman Road and made 176 league appearances.

"To stay up was great and now I'm delighted to be joining on a permanent basis," Edwards told the Lions website.
