Guernsey FC to face Conference South sides in pre-season

Guernsey FC will host two sides from the Conference South in pre-season.

The Green Lions will host Havant & Waterlooville on Saturday, 19 July and Gosport Borough on Friday 1, August.

Guernsey had already unveiled fixtures with Weymouth and Billericay Town earlier this month.

Tony Vance's side have also added two matches against lower-ranked sides on the same day, playing Wokingham and Emmbrook & Spelthorne Sports on Saturday, 26 July at Footes Lane.

Havant & Waterlooville, who once gave Liverpool a scare in the FA Cup, finished sixth in the Conference South last season, while Gosport made the FA Trophy final as they finished 12th in Conference South.

Hellenic League East runners-up Wokingham & Emmbrook will face Guernsey at 13:00 BST on Saturday, 26 July before facing Spelthorne Sports at 16:30 BST.

Spelthorne were the when they defeated them in October 2011, as the Green Lions went on to win the Combined Counties Legaue Division One South title that season.
