Burnley defender Daniel Lafferty has signed a new three-year contract.

Lafferty, 25, was one of four out-of-contract players offered new deals at the end of the season and he is the first of the quartet to agree terms.

The Northern Ireland international played just 12 times in all competitions for the Clarets last season as Sean Dyche's side won promotion to the Premier League.

Michael Duff, Junior Stanislas and Luke O'Neill are also considering offers.
