Jussi Jaaskelainen: West Ham goalkeeper signs new contract

West Ham goalkeeper Jussi Jaaskelainen has signed a new one-year contract to remain at Upton Park during 2014-15.

Jaaskelainen, 39, joined the Hammers on a free transfer in 2012 after more than 14 years at Bolton and played 18 times in the Premier League in 2013-14.

But Adrian ended the season as West Ham's first-choice goalkeeper after Jaaskelainen was dropped in January.

"Physically I feel good and I felt good last season so I hope I can carry on from there," he told the club website.
