Nottingham Forest: Tim Flowers & John Marshall join backroom team

Nottingham Forest boss Stuart Pearce has brought in former England goalkeeper Tim Flowers and senior Football Association scout John Marshall to bolster his backroom staff.

Marshall, 49, who played 411 matches for Fulham before working as their scout, joins as head of recruitment.

He also headed player recruitment at Leicester City before joining the FA.

Flowers, 47, is reunited with his former England team-mate Pearce as goalkeeping coach at the City Ground.

Most recently the former Southampton, Wolves, Swindon Town and Leicester City goalkeeper, who was a Premier League winner with Blackburn Rovers in 1995, worked as first-team coach at Kidderminster Harriers.

Previously Flowers was number two to Iain Dowie at Coventry City, Queens Park Rangers and in the Premier League with Hull City in 2010 before he tried management with Conference North side Stafford Rangers.

He also had three years on the backroom staff with Northampton Town, including two spells as caretaker manager.
