Portsmouth have signed Stevenage midfielder James Dunne and ex-Torquay keeper Michael Poke on two-year deals.

Ex-Arsenal man Dunne, 24, whose deal has the option of an extension, ended last term on loan at St Johnstone.

Poke, 28, played 14 times for the relegated Gulls last season.

"James enjoyed a very successful spell in Scotland last season," Portsmouth boss Andy Awford told the club website. "Michael is a good all-round goalkeeper and will provide decent competition."

Having enjoyed various loan spells at Torquay between 2008 and 2010, Poke joined the then League Two side on a permanent deal in 2012.

The keeper made 57 appearance before leaving this summer.
