Lewis Guy: Gateshead sign striker after Carlisle United exit
- Published
Striker Lewis Guy has joined Conference Premier play-off finalists Gateshead after being released by Carlisle.
The 29-year-old has agreed a one-year deal to become the fifth signing in 24 hours after Andrai Jones, Tom Allan, JJ O'Donnell and Michael Rankine arrived.
Guy started out at Newcastle, and has scored 40 times in 320 games during spells with Doncaster, Hartlepool, Oldham, MK Dons, Oxford and St Mirren.
He could link up in attack with Jon Shaw, who joined from Luton last month.
