Rochdale: Rose, Bunney and Rafferty sign new contracts

Michael Rose scored five goals in 47 games for Rochdale last season

Michael Rose, Joe Rafferty and Joe Bunney have all agreed new contracts with League One newcomers Rochdale.

Full-back Rose, 31, played 47 times for Dale last season and has extended his existing deal, which had 12 months left to run, until the summer of 2016.

Defender Rafferty, 20, has done likewise, while striker Bunney, also 20, has signed a fresh two-year deal.

Keith Hill's Rochdale were promoted to the third tier after finishing third in League Two last term.
