Carlisle have signed Troy Archibald-Henville on a two-year deal after he turned down a new contract at Swindon.

The 25-year-old defender had a loan spell with the Cumbrians last season, making four appearances.

He has played 138 league games, having also had spells with Exeter and Norwich after leaving Tottenham in 2010.

"He'll be a massive player for us - he's a leader. We were really impressed last year, and disappointed to lose him to injury," said boss Graham Kavanagh.
