Leicester City midfielder Matty James has signed a new four-year contract with the Premier league newcomers.

The 22-year-old, who was signed from Manchester United in May 2012, played 35 league games as he helped the Foxes to the Championship title last season.

"Heading into the Premier League, after the unbelievable season we've just had, to sign a four-year deal with this club is just fantastic," said James.

"The club's got an exciting future. I'm delighted I'm going to be part of it."
