Brazil's Hulk and Germany's Philipp Lahm will face each in Tuesday's semi-final

The BBC will show the World Cup semi-final between Brazil and Germany live on television.

The host nation, who will be without their talismanic striker Neymar, face Germany at 21:00 BST on Tuesday in Belo Horizonte.

The second semi-final, between Netherlands and Argentina takes place on Wednesday, 9 July.

A 1-0 win against France in Friday's quarter-final ensured Germany's place in the last four, while Brazil beat Colombia 2-1.

Germany coach Joachim Low believes the South American side will have an important advantage in being at home, while Brazil captain Thiago Silva wants to win the World Cup for Neymar after the forward was ruled out with a broken bone in his back.
