Stafylidis could join Fulham on a permanent deal

Fulham have signed Greece international left-back Konstantinos Stafylidis on a season-long loan from Bayer Leverkusen.

The 20-year-old, who has made one appearance for Greece but was not in their 2014 World Cup squad, joined the German side from PAOK Salonika in 2012.

He is Fulham's sixth summer signing as the relegated club prepare for life in the Championship.

The deal includes an option to make Stafylidis's move to Craven Cottage permanent if he impresses.

His arrival was announced 24 hours after Fulham confirmed the capture of Scotland striker Ross McCormack from Leeds United.

They have also signed former Schalke defender Tim Hoogland, Australia striker Adam Taggart, defender Kay Voser from Basel and Motherwell defender Shaun Hutchinson.
