Alfreton Town 1-1 Altrincham

Kyle Perry's 89th-minute equaliser for Altrincham denied Alfreton a first Conference win of the season.

Loanee Joe Ironside's first-half strike went in via the underside of the crossbar to put the hosts ahead.

Damian Reeves had an excellent chance to equalise for the visitors, but Alfreton goalkeeper Cameron Dawson denied him when through on goal.

However, Perry nodded in a James Lawrie cross late on to earn Altrincham their first away point of the campaign.

Alfreton Town manager Nicky Law:

"It's a point, we're off and rolling and we've got to take that into the next two or three games.

"It's a poor corner that we've given away. Up until then we defended them ok. I asked in the changing room for who was marking (Kyle) Perry but we all knew.

"I wouldn't mind if teams were working for them (goals) but they're not, they're gifts.

"The goal we've conceded was poor defending. If I'm honest we've come out second half and we've spent the game on the edge of our 18-yard box."
