Luton Town have signed former Hull City and Bradford City midfielder Nathan Doyle on a one-year deal.

The 27-year-old was released by the Bantams in the summer after two years at Valley Parade, during which he featured in the 2013 League Cup final and League Two play-off final.

After starting his career at Derby, he moved to Hull in 2007 and featured four times in the Premier League.

"Nathan is a top quality player," said Hatters boss John Still.

"I think we're very fortunate to be able to bring him to Kenilworth Road."

Doyle left Hull in 2010 and spent two years with Barnsley, which also included a loan spell at Preston, before joining Bradford in the summer of 2012.

"He's only 27 but he's played over 250 games - most of them in the Championship, which underlines his ability," Still added.
