Vance's Guernsey FC sit seventh in Isthmian League Division One South

Guernsey FC manager Tony Vance says it is too early to talk about promotion despite three consecutive wins.

The Green Lions had lost four straight matches before scoring 15 goals in their last three, including Saturday's 5-1 victory over East Grinstead.

"We're not even in the play-off places yet, we haven't earned the right to even talk about promotion," Vance told BBC Guernsey.

"We had a terrible start and we're playing catch up."

Guernsey, who sit seventh in Isthmian League Division One South, travel to the mainland to take on third-placed Faversham, but another win would see them leapfrog their opponents in the table.

"The last two performances we've been ruthless and perhaps we've got our mojo back," Vance added.

"We've almost got a full deck of cards to play with, defensive options, midfield options and of course the fantastic forward options we possess.

"I'm not going to put any more pressure on us; we try to win every game anyway and that's what people expect so we've got to keep doing the right things and hopefully the rewards will come."
