Truro City manager Steve Tully believes his side need to start turning their chances into goals if they hope to move up the Southern Premier League.

The White Tigers sit in 10th place in the table ahead of the trip to Burnham.

"We're only four points off second place, so we're not far away," Tully told BBC Radio Cornwall.

"We've created a lot of good chances this season but we've just let in too many soft goals and not scored enough goals - that's not a good recipe."

Truro were knocked out of the FA Cup at the first hurdle by Larkhall Athletic but had won their previous two league matches prior to the cup tie.

"The cup match was a blip, we've got to make sure we're ready now as we've got three big games coming up against teams below us," said Tully.

"We didn't play as we can do on Saturday but we still created 15 or 16 clear-cut chances.

"When we stop creating those chances then I'll start worrying, in a minute someone's going to step up and take those goals."
