Irish Premiership: Cliftonville 1-1 Dungannon Swifts

Champions Cliftonville are still without a home win in the Premiership this season after an injury-time own goal gifted Dungannon a draw.

Andrew Michell blazed over and Jamie Douglas fired wide as the Swifts made a bright start while James Knowles dragged wide for the Reds.

Joe Gormley put the hosts ahead after the break with a six-yard finish but Dungannon snatched a late leveller.

George McMullan's clearance bounced off keeper Ryan Brown and into the net.

The opening stages belonged to Dungannon but the Reds came into the game and Barry Johnston shot over before McMullan sent his effort wide.

The opener came five minutes into the second half with Gormley showing his poacher instincts after keeper Andy Coleman parried Stephen Garrett's shot.

Dougie Wilson almost levelled for Dungannon when his shot was blocked on the line before David McCullough headed against the Cliftonville crossbar.

However, there was huge slice of fortune for the equaliser as McMullan smashed his goal-line clearance, from a David Armstrong header, against Brown with the ball flying back into the net.

Cliftonville remain fifth but are now three points behind leaders Portadown while Dunagnnon move up a spot to 10th.
