Irish Premiership: Institute 1-1 Glentoran

Institute held on for a draw against Glentoran after having defender Mark Scoltock sent-off at Drumahoe.

Institute were leading through a Thomas McBride goal when Scoltock was sent-off in the 54th minute for pushing his head into opponent Calum Birney's face.

McBride headed the opener from Stephen Curry's cross with the ball escaping Glens keeper Aaron Hogg.

Curtis Allen grabbed the equaliser with a far post finish in the 85th minute after a long throw.

The Glens almost grabbed victory when substitute Willie Garrett's header struck the underside of the crossbar.
