Barcelona dropped points for the first time under boss Luis Enrique as they were held away to Malaga.

The Catalans, who had won their first four games, failed to have a shot on target despite fielding a front three of Lionel Messi, Neymar and Pedro.

They almost conceded their first goal of the season but keeper Claudio Bravo tipped Luis Alberto's free-kick onto the post.

Barca remain top of the table, on goal difference from Sevilla.

Earlier in the day, Luis Suarez scored twice and Thomas Vermaelen also found the net as Barcelona B beat an Indonesia under-19 team 6-0.

The former Liverpool striker is suspended from competitive games until their match with rivals Real Madrid on 25 October.

He was banned for four months for biting Giorgio Chiellini during the World Cup.
