Daniel Nardiello's fourth goal of the season wrapped up the win for Bury.

Bury beat Tranmere to make it four wins from five and put themselves top of League Two.

Tom Soares rifled an effort narrowly over before Danny Rose had a header acrobatically saved by Owain Fon Williams.

Bury took the lead through Kelvin Etuhu's fine effort from distance after a corner was half cleared.

Daniel Nardiello headed in at the near post from a corner to wrap up the win for Bury.

"It's like anything, you go to work and you try to produce a performance and we have done today.

"Kelvin Etuhu is a destroyer, he's a destructive player and something we don't really ask him for is goals, so when it goes in off his shin, I've been a bit surprised that he's scored it.

"He's fantastic. I'm glad he's scored because he's worked hard for that."
