Peter Crouch: Stoke City's record signing ready to commit future

Stoke City's record signing Peter Crouch is ready to commit his long-term future to the Premier League club.
The 33-year-old England striker is now into the final 12 months of the four-year deal he agreed when Stoke signed him in the August 2011 transfer window.
Crouch, who cost Stoke an initial £10m, could leave for nothing next summer.
But he told BBC Radio Stoke: "I would like to stay here for a long time. I enjoy playing for Stoke, I'm loving it here and long may that continue."

The 6ft 7in forward has scored three times so far this season, to take his career tally to 174 goals in 579 appearances.
He also has 22 goals from 42 games for England, leaving him just four short of a career double century for clubs and country.
It is almost four years since he was last capped by Fabio Capello as a substitute in the 2-1 home defeat by France in November 2010.
And having declined a place among Roy Hodgson's stand-by list for Euro 2012, he is realistic about his prospects of a fresh chance at international level despite media speculation about a possible recall.
Crouch admitted: "If you're getting talked about, you must be doing something right, but I don't look to the squad announcements now with much hope or anticipation.
"I loved every minute of my time with England. I didn't miss a squad for five years and I played in two World Cups.
"But now I'm concentrating only on doing what I can for Stoke City and I'm really enjoying my football."
He added: "There's been times in the past when I've been left feeling a bit isolated up front. But I feel I'm now a better player than I was four or five years ago and hopefully I've got a few more goals left in me yet."
