Plymouth Argyle made it five matches unbeaten with a comfortable victory over Cheltenham Town.

Reuben Reid took his tally to eight with a powerful 20-yard drive after good work from Kelvin Mellor.

Defender Peter Hartley headed past Robins goalkeeper Trevor Carson from Andy Kellett's free-kick to double Argyle's lead.

On-loan Bobby Reid then set up Lewis Alessandra to make it 3-0 in the 76th minute with a close-range strike.

Cheltenham Town manager Mark Yates told BBC Radio Gloucestershire:

"It was a frustrating day. I just felt we weren't quite at it, and they were better than us in every department."

"There were moments in the game when I thought we could get back in it, but our game management wasn't right.

"They're a good side and John is a good manager - they're probably the best side we've played."
