Bayern Munich and Borussia Monchengladbach kept up their unbeaten starts to the Bundesliga season with an entertaining goalless draw.
Champions Bayern had the first major chance when keeper Yann Sommer tipped David Alaba's shot from the corner of the box on to the post.
However they could have lost but for keeper Manuel Neuer, who denied Andre Hahn following a counter-attack.
The German World Cup winner then kept out a Raffael free-kick.
Bayern Munich - who thrashed Roma 7-1 in the Champions League in midweek - have not suffered a meaningful league defeat in two years. Their only two Bundesliga losses since October 2012 came after they had won the 2013-14 title in record time.
They lead the table by four points from Monchengladbach, Wolfsburg and Hoffenheim.
