Ipswich Town manager Mick McCarthy is confident that his side will find their form again, despite being "livid" with their weekend performance.

Town drew 2-2 with Huddersfield on Saturday and are winless in five games.

"I'm annoyed, angry, upset and the players are. I was livid," McCarthy told BBC Radio Suffolk.

"I think when I look back it might be a good point. But we're still the same group of people that were getting lauded and they will be back again."

Ipswich have only suffered one loss in their last 10 matches and had been on an undefeated eight-game run until hitting their current form of four draws and a defeat in five outings.

It has seen them slide away from the Championship play-off spots and, after going 2-0 up against Huddersfield, it was the fourth consecutive game Town had failed to hold on to a lead.

"We had a great month didn't we? Manager of the month, player of the month [Tyrone Mings] - it's changed around and we have to change it ourselves by doing all the things we were doing," said former Wolves boss McCarthy.

"It's a different ball game. We set the standard and the fans expect more from us. Teams are changing their tactics to come and play against us. We have to manage that."
