Marco Reus missed Germany's World Cup win with an ankle injury

Borussia Dortmund forward Marco Reus has attempted to play down speculation linking him with a move to Saturday's opponents Bayern Munich.

The German international's contract runs to 2017 but Bayern chief executive Karl-Heinz Rummenigge said that the club could "potentially be interested" in a player of his quality.

"There are a lot of people talking about my future," said Reus, 25.

"Other people are thinking more about my future more than me".

Rummenigge reportedly angered Dortmund officials a few months ago by publicly revealing the player had a buyout clause in his contract.

Reus is the latest Dortmund player to be linked with Bayern in recent seasons, with the Bundesliga champions having signed Mario Gotze and Robert Lewandowski from last season's runners-up in the last two years.

"The only thing that is certain is that we are on our way to Munich to get the points for Dortmund," said Reus in a statement, ahead of Saturday's trip to leaders Bayern.

He added that their upcoming games in the Champions League and the Bundesliga were all that mattered to him at the moment.

Dortmund are 15th in the table after a bad start to the season, with six losses in nine games. They top their Champions League group, however, with maximum points from three games.
