Blackpool have signed Belgium midfielder Jonathan Legear on a contract until the end of the season.

The 27-year-old had been on trial at the Seasiders and the deal includes option for a further year.

Legear came through the youth system at Anderlecht and has also played for Russian side FC Terek Grozny, but has been without a club since his release by KV Mechelen earlier this year.

The midfielder won the last of his two Belgium caps in 2010.

The deal is still subject to international clearance which means Legear is unavailable for Blackpool's game at Fulham on Tuesday.

He is the second arrival since the appointment of Lee Clark as manager, following the loan signing of Norwich's Jacob Murphy.
