Elliott Hewitt: Ipswich Town defender returns to Colchester

Elliott Hewitt joined Ipswich Town from Macclesfield in 2012

Colchester United have re-signed Ipswich full-back Elliott Hewitt on a month's loan, while West Ham defender Jamie Harney has joined until January.

Hewitt, 20, spent the whole of October at the U's but was recalled by Town after making six appearances.

He has played three Championship games this term and spent most of last season on loan at Gillingham.

Harney, 18, is a Northern Ireland Under-21 international who can play centre-half or right-back.
