Richard Brindley: Scunthorpe sign Rotherham full-back on loan

Richard Brindley made 24 appearances as the Millers won promotion from League One last season

Scunthorpe United have signed Rotherham United full-back Richard Brindley on loan until January.

The 21-year-old has made only three appearances for the Millers this season.

He joined the New York Stadium side from Chesterfield in May 2013 and helped them to promotion from League One last season.

Brindley could make his debut for the Iron, currently 23rd in League One, in Saturday's match at Barnsley.
