Bury 1-1 Luton Town

Substitute Daniel Nardiello scored a stoppage-time equaliser to earn Bury a second-round replay with Luton.

Luton took the lead in bizarre fashion as Bury goalkeeper Rob Lainton allowed Scott Griffiths' weak cross through his legs and Mark Cullen tapped in.

Bury regrouped and goalkeeper Mark Tyler saved from Danny Rose before Craig Jones sent two corners over.

Nardiello forced the ball over the line in the midst of a goalmouth scramble from a corner to ensure a replay.

Bury manager David Flitcroft told BBC Radio Manchester:

"It was a good afternoon. It was a typical FA Cup tie, where both teams didn't want to lose the game and certainly we wanted to win it.

"We dominated the game in every aspect really and to be 1-0 down was a bit unjust, I felt.

"We kept ploughing away, we kept building pressure and the fans were excellent today."

Luton Town manager John Still told BBC Three Counties Radio:

"I'm disappointed to concede late, but I'm pleased with everything we've done in the game.

"The boys have given everything, as they always do. That's a good performance and we are happy with what we've done.

"I'm not worried about the replay - I'm happy that it's a replay. We look forward to it."
