Colin McMenamin grabbed a hat-trick as Stenhousemuir consigned fellow Scottish League One strugglers Ayr United to a fifth straight defeat.

McMenamin's low shot was cancelled out by Scott McLaughlin's free-kick.

Gary Oliver's cross was headed in by McMenamin and the striker's treble arrived with another low drive.

Alan Forrest nodded one back for Ayr but they could find a third, meaning they slip below Stenny into second bottom place in the table.
