Mark Byrne: Newport County midfielder signs new contract

Mark Byrne signed for Nottingham Forest from Dublin schoolboy side, Crumlin United in 2007
Newport County midfielder Mark Byrne has signed a new deal which will keep him at the club until the end of the 2015-16 season.
Byrne, 26, joined on a free from Barnet in July on a six month deal.
The Irishman, who has scored once in 18 games for County, began his professional career at Nottingham Forest.
He had loan spells at Burton Albion and Rushden and Diamonds before joining Barnet in 2011.
