Wes York, in action against Stoke in the FA Cup, scored twice for Wrexham in their FA Trophy win over Stockport

Wrexham thrashed Stockport in their FA Trophy second-round replay to seal their place in the third round.

Wes York's curling effort and Louis Moult's strike put Wrexham ahead before Chris Churchman's deflected shot gave Stockport hope.

Moult and York claimed a second each after the break, before Andy Bishop and Steve Tomassen completed the rout.

An injury to goalkeeper Dan Bachmann meant midfielder Joe Clarke played the second half in goal for Wrexham.

Wrexham manager Kevin Wilkin:

"There are positives in the way we played. The negative is that Dan Bachmann has got an injury.

"Joe [Clarke] has gone in there and not had a lot to do but, fair play to him, he has got the gloves on and got on with the job.

"Generally in my experience I have not had to call on a goalkeeper too many times off the bench. It's one of those things and fortunately it hasn't cost us."
