Long-serving Brentford midfielder Sam Saunders has signed an extension to his contract with the Championship club.
The 31-year-old, who has scored 27 goals in 170 appearances since joining the Bees in 2009, will remain with the west London club until summer 2016.
"Sam offers so much for us on and off the pitch and has shown real passion to be part of the club moving forward," manager Mark Warburton said.
"He has come through a difficult period of injury and has shown his desire."
Former Dagenham & Redbridge man Saunders, who missed most of 2014 with a knee injury, has featured four times for Brentford this season, scoring twice.
