Wales internationals Hayley Ladd, Nadia Lawrence and Sharla Passariello have signed for Women's Super League side Bristol Academy for the 2015 season.

Ladd, 21, is a former Arsenal and Coventry City midfielder who has 25 international caps.

Forward Lawrence, 25, has signed for the Vixens after a spell in Iceland.

Passariello, 23, came through Bristol's youth team but has spent the last four years playing in the USA for South Florida Bulls.

Speaking about the signings, Vixens boss Dave Edmondson said: "Hayley is an experienced international with real quality as well as versatility.

"She is a winner, with a bite and determination that I am looking to make a characteristic of the team this year.

"Sharla is a strong and powerful striker who will add another dimension to our play.

"Nadia is an ambitious and determined player with good technical ability and a real desire to improve herself as a player."

The trio become the first new arrivals for the forthcoming season, and will help fill the gaps left by the departure of first-team members Corinne Yorston, Laura Del Rio, Jemma Rose, Natalia, Natasha Harding and Alex Windell.
