Midfielder Jonjo Shelvey says he wants to stay at Swansea City

Swansea City and England midfielder Jonjo Shelvey says he wants to stay at the club and fight for his place.
Swans boss Garry Monk warned the 22-year-old in December he would not tolerate his "laziness" any more.
Shelvey scored with a spectacular strike in the 1-0 win at Southampton in his first Premier League start since the 4-1 loss to Liverpool on 29 December.
"I want to stay and fight for my place, that's the main thing," Shelvey said.
"It's not just on the pitch I've got to do it, but on the training pitch as well. Fingers crossed I can do it."
The January transfer window closes on Monday, 2 February - at 23:00 GMT.
Shelvey was banned for four matches after accepting a charge of violent conduct after catching Emre Can with his arm during Decembers defeat at Liverpool.
He was at his best on Sunday at St Mary's as he drilled the ball powerfully beyond Saints goalkeeper Fraser Forster in the 83rd minute, having hit the post earlier in the game.
It was only Swansea's second win in 10 away games and their first win in five Premier League matches.
They are now ninth in the Premier League table and Shelvey said it was "one of my most important goals" for the club.
"We needed the win. We've had a slow start to the year and it was important to get the three points," added Shelvey.
"My dad said to me before the game, 'just make sure it's good headlines in the morning'.
"It's important for me personally to score a goal because I've had a lot of people criticising me of late.
"I think at Liverpool I was unlucky to get a four-game suspension, but it is what it is and I'm just glad to be back on the pitch."
