Newport County 1-1 Tranmere Rovers

Mark Byrne notched a late equaliser for Newport County as they continued their play-off push with a point against Tranmere Rovers at Rodney Parade.

The hosts saw midfielder Lee Minshull forced off towards the end of the first half with a heavy blow to the head.

Rovers took the lead in first-half injury-time when Jennison Myrie-Williams found Rory Donnelly to finish.

But Byrne struck a neat left-footed shot from outside the box late on to earn a point for The Exiles.
