Brendan Rodgers' Liverpool travel to Bolton for an FA Cup fourth-round replay on Wednesday
Brendan Rodgers has sent a personal letter of condolence to the family of a Liverpool fan who passed away.
Joe Nelson received the note from the manager following the death of his grandfather Roy, an Anfield season-ticket holder for more than 60 years.
"Roy is part of our LFC family and always will be," Rodgers wrote.
Mr Nelson told the Liverpool Echo, external: "It shows what a family club Liverpool are and it's a great gesture."

Brendan Rodgers followed the example of another Liverpool manager, Bill Shankly, in writing to a supporter.
