Crewe Alexandra striker Marcus Haber says he is ready to make an impact for the League One side.

Haber has played the last three Alex games, scoring his fifth of the term in Saturday's 2-0 win over Fleetwood win, having not been used since December.

"I'm ready for any opportunity," 26-year-old Haber told BBC Radio Stoke.

"Any player wants to make a difference. I know it's not always going to be my time so you've got to be patient and recognise that it's a team game."

The victory over Fleetwood at Gresty Road was a third straight win for Steve Davis's side, taking them seven points clear of the relegation zone.

Haber also says he is enjoying his partnership with Nicky Ajose, who has scored in every game since the Canada international came back into the side.

"We work best when the ball comes into me and he can play off me," added Haber. "It works because he compliments me and I compliment him."
