Chris Long: Everton striker's Brentford loan deal is extended
- Published
Championship side Brentford have extended Everton forward Chris Long's loan spell at Griffin Park by a month.
Long, 19, scored in the Bees' 3-1 win against promotion rivals Bournemouth on Saturday - his first goal in his five games since joining in January.
"I am delighted with Chris' contribution at the start of his loan," Brentford manager Mark Warburton told the club website.
"I feel confident all parties will benefit from the loan being extended."
Long, who previously had a loan spell at MK Dons, has made all of his Bees appearances as a substitute.
He made his Everton debut earlier this season when he came on during the Europa League game against FC Krasnodar.
His new loan deal expires on 21 March.
