Scotland coach Gordon Strachan is looking forward to seeing how Celtic and Aberdeen players deal with pressure in Sunday's "crucial match".

The Premiership's top two meet at Celtic Park on Sunday with the hosts currently holding a three-point advantage over the Dons.

Celtic also have a game in hand over Derek McInnes's side.

"As a Scotland manager, I'm looking forward to seeing players playing in full stadiums," said Strachan.

"How do the players work together, can they handle it?

"We're all talking about it. It'll be a terrific game of football. I'm looking forward to it."

Celtic and Aberdeen will meet for a third time this season

Several of Strachan's Scotland squad players will be on show in Sunday's game as he continues to assess options for his player pool.

The national coach will soon announce his squad for the international friendly with Northern Ireland and the Euro 2016 qualifier against Gibraltar, which take place on 25 and 29 March, respectively.

"When I go and see games now, I just want to see good football, I want to see good players," added Strachan on BBC Radio Scotland's Off the Ball programme.

"I'm not interested in results anymore. I want to see who can deal with pressure, who can entertain me.

"I want to see people who can beat people. They are essential in your football team because defences are getting so good.

"I'm looking for good team-mates who, in a crisis, don't crumble."
