Truro City manager Steve Tully says his side are good enough to make the Southern Premier League play-offs at the end of the season.

City are still fourth in the table despite having won just two of their last five league games.

"We want to be in the play-offs, there's no qualms about it," Tully told BBC Radio Cornwall.

"We think we're a good enough squad and team to be in the play-offs, but we've got to earn the right to do that."

Tully's side travel to mid-table Slough Town with a three-point buffer between themselves and the sides immediately below them in the table.

"We're in the play-offs, but we've got to stay there and that's the biggest challenge now to the players," Tully continued.

"The team's come a long way, we had an up and down start to the season, but from the end of October we've only lost four or five games.

"We're a good team, a good squad, but this is the nitty gritty. There's eight games to go, 24 points to play for and let's see what happens."
