Wales player ratings against Israel

Chris Coleman's Wales are unbeaten after five matches in qualifying for France 2016

Wales swept to the top of European Championship qualifying Pool B with a dominant 3-0 win over Israel in Haifa.

Gareth Bale scored twice in the second half after Aaron Ramsey had given Chris Coleman's team a 1-0 interval lead.

Wales face group favourites Belgium in their next qualifying match in Cardiff on 12 June.

But how well did the players perform in Israel?

Wayne Hennessey (goalkeeper) - 7

The Crystal Palace keeper did not have much to do but dealt comfortably with a few dangerous Israeli crosses.

Chris Gunter (right-back) - 7

Defended calmly against the threat of Tal Ben Haim II on the Israeli left wing and was eager to go forward, even if his final ball was not always of the highest quality.

James Collins (centre-back) - 7

Missed a glorious opportunity to score an early opener but made one timely headed clearance in the first half and remained steady throughout.

Ashley Williams (centre-back) - 7

The captain was seldom troubled and led his side with a cool authority, passing the ball well and keeping Israel's strikers quiet.

Ben Davies (centre-back) - 8

Naturally a left-back but slotted in as a third central defender with ease, making a number of excellent interceptions and carrying the ball forward with purpose.

Neil Taylor (left-back) - 7

Like Gunter, coped well with the move to a more advanced wing-back role, linking up well with the likes of Allen and Ramsey in midfield.

Joe Allen (right midfield) - 9

The Liverpool man was the cornerstone of a dominant Welsh midfield, passing with unerring accuracy and disrupting Israel with some important tackles and interceptions.

Aaron Ramsey (centre midfield) - 8

Came to life towards the end of the first half with his goal, prompting a mature display of elegant playmaking after the break.

Joe Ledley (left midfield) - 7

Worked well in tandem with Allen at the base of the Welsh midfield, keeping things simple with a tactically disciplined display.

Gareth Bale (striker) - 9 (Man of the Match)

After a turbulent few weeks with Real Madrid, the forward produced a phenomenal display of powerful running and potent finishing as he spearheaded Wales' attack. Was a constant threat to the Israel defence.

Hal Robson-Kanu (striker) - 7

Held the ball up well and closed down tirelessly in a hard-working display, albeit with limited quality in the opponents' penalty area.
