Celtic: Liam Henderson joins Rosenborg on loan

Henderson was on target for Celtic in January's 2-0 win at Hamilton Accies

Celtic midfielder Liam Henderson has agreed a three-month loan move to Norwegian side Rosenborg.

The 18-year-old has made 23 first-team appearances for the Scottish champions, scoring twice since his debut in December 2013.

Rosenborg, Norway's most successful club with 22 titles, finished runners-up in last season's Tippeligaen.

Manager Kare Ingebrigtsen describes Henderson as "a very exciting player with a strong will to win".

Henderson moves to Norway after a spell with Scotland's Under-19 team, who narrowly missed out on qualification for the European Championship.
