Jimmy Dack's final game as Newport boss before Terry Butcher takes charge ended in a 1-0 loss to Oxford.

Kemar Roofe spoiled things for the Exiles' caretaker-manager with his sixth goal in seven games for Oxford.

Then on the stroke of half-time Newport had Mike Flynn sent off on the midfielder's 100th appearance for the Welsh side.

The result sees Newport end the season ninth in League Two, with Oxford finishing four points back in 13th.
