Kieron Morris: Walsall winger signs new two-year contract

Walsall winger Kieron Morris has signed a new two-year deal with the Saddlers.
Hereford-born Morris, 20, has been a regular for the League One side over the past month, since coming back from loan at Conference club Wrexham.
Having made seven straight starts, in which he has scored twice, he has been rewarded with a new, improved deal.
"I've tried to make an impact. I knew when I went out on loan I had to impress and, in my first game back, the pressure was on to perform," he said.

Kieron Morris made his Walsall debut as a 19-year-old in the 2013-14 season, making two appearances from the bench before his full debut on the final day of the season at home to Colchester. |
He came off the bench to hit a League Cup winner at Southend in August, but was not on the winning team in any of his next six Walsall appearances (five as substitute) before being loaned out to Wrexham in late January. |
After scoring four times in two months at Wrexham, Morris was part of the team beaten on penalties in the FA Trophy final at Wembley - just a week after being there to watch the Saddlers lose in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy. |
"I was scoring goals at Wrexham so I knew when I came back that I had the potential to pull the trigger. When I get the chance to shoot, as long as I hit the target, I feel like I've got a good chance of scoring.
"I knew the standard would be harder and the tempo would be quicker but I've tried to be as consistent as possible and I feel I've adapted to it well.
"The first 30 minutes was quite a blow and my lungs were going but now that's out the way I'm ready to kick on next season.
"If we can continue next year how we are finishing this season then we've got a great chance of a play-off challenge."
Walsall lie 11th in League One, unbeaten in seven games, going into this Sunday's final round of fixtures.
