Premier League predictions: Lawro v Katarina Johnson-Thompson

  • Published
BBC Sport expert Mark Lawrenson

BBC Sport's football expert Mark Lawrenson is pitting his wits against a different guest each week this season.

Lawro's opponent for this weekend's Premier League fixtures is heptathlete Katarina Johnson-Thompson.

The Merseyside athlete, who is a keen Liverpool fan, said: "I've supported Liverpool my entire life. I've been to four games at home this season but it's difficult to get time off training.

"I'm not sure if it's true but Emile Heskey is supposed to have the same birthday as me so he's the first name I had on the back of my Liverpool shirt when I was younger. It was the logical choice!"

A correct result (picking a win, draw or defeat) is worth ONE point. The exact score earns THREE points.

Last weekend, Lawro got six correct results from 10 Premier League games, with no perfect scores.

His score of six points saw him beaten by former Rolling Stones bassist Bill Wyman, who picked five correct results, but with one perfect score. That gave him a total of seven points.

We are keeping a record of the totals for Lawro and his guests (below), and showing a table of how the Premier League would look if all of Lawro's predictions were correct (at the bottom of the page).
